The Pendleton High School ASPIRE program is pleased to announce that MaKenzie Noggle, a senior at Pendleton High School, has been awarded the Renaissance Foundation Scholarship for $10,000.
According to their website, the Renaissance Foundation has several scholarship opportunities “focused on first-generation college students who are passionate about their field of study and have a high potential to succeed.”
Noggle attended an awards banquet in Portland to receive the scholarship, along with six other winners in Oregon.
“This is a great way to start our scholarships for the class of 2018!” said Jill Gregg, PHS ASPIRE coordinator.
Noggle plans to study robotic engineering and is applying to Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts and Oregon State University.
