The district is pleased to announce the February 2019 Staff in the Spotlight recipients. Every month, each of our schools honors a staff member at their building for going above and beyond their regular duties or for doing something special. Join us in celebrating these outstanding employees!

Jesse Lantz makes us feel blessed to have him as our custodian. He isn’t ‘just’ a custodian, he is a mentor, a student helper, the fixer of our amazing country school house and a tremendous friend and co-worker. Jesse cares about our staff and students in the same manner that people care about their own family. We are all very fortunate to work with him!
Karen Ashbeck is honored this month for always being flexible with her schedule, kind and loving with all students and a positive light at Sherwood. We appreciate how much she puts students first.
Jen DeGrofft has an amazing ability to make connections with others and meet the needs of ALL students. She challenges herself to learn more as an educator and makes learning exciting and engaging for children. Jen is an outstanding teacher and team member.
Tim Cary is celebrated for being so positive and friendly! Always a team player, he helps out in open gym several times each week. You are appreciated, Tim!
