Kylee Jensen, Agricultural Sciences Teacher & FFA Advisor, Pendleton High Schoolkylee jensen

Jensen grew up in this area and graduated from Pilot Rock in 2011. Her family owns and operates a cattle ranch, which provided her with quality experiences as a youth. Jensen earned her Bachelor’s (Agricultural Sciences) and Master’s (Agricultural Education) degrees from Oregon State University. "Teaching agriculture is a passion of mine, and Pendleton is ideal for promoting the power of agriculture to youth," she said.

Jensen comes to Pendleton after working two years in Burns, Oregon, where, in addition to her teaching duties, she operated a “Friday Academy” to assist students in their core academics.

After a few months at Pendleton High School, she says, "It's really exciting to see people want to help out with the FFA chapter and how much they want to see our students be successful at upcoming events and throughout the year.”
