Achievement Compacts

Achievement Compacts are a partnership agreement between the state and a school district that defines key measures of student success and sets targets for achievement as defined by the district. The Achievement Compacts drive school district programs and helps to put instruction where students need the most support, based upon achievement scores on state assessments. All school districts, education service districts, community colleges and the university system in Oregon are required to enter into Achievement Compacts each year.

Diploma/Graduation Requirements

The changes to the Oregon Diploma adopted by the State Board of Education in 2007 are designed to prepare high school graduates to compete in a global economy. Whether graduates head to college, technical training or directly to the workforce, they need a high level of skills to be successful. The Pendleton School District is committed to ensuring all students have the opportunity to attain this more rigorous and meaningful diploma.
