January 2020 Staff in the Spotlight
The district is pleased to announce the January 2020 Staff in the Spotlight recipients. Every month, each of our schools honors a staff member at their building for going above and beyond their regular duties or for doing something special. Join us in celebrating these outstanding employees!
PELC | Mireya Wolf is always stepping up to the plate and filling in where needed. She has taken on new responsibilities, yet continues to do nothing less than her best. Mireya is always a joy to work with and a great asset to the PELC team. We are truly lucky to have her.
McKay | Cassy Pinard is honored for the sincere connections she makes with kids. Cassy makes music fun by engaging kids in a variety of ways, and our students love going to music and learning with her.
Sherwood | Brenda Christensen has mega energy, is very patient and caring and is simply amazing. Her focus makes every aspect of her job important and creates a huge impact for our kids.
Washington | Noele Mead always arrives to work each day with a positive attitude. Our students and families intentionally look for Mrs. Mead at crossing guard each morning, as she always has a smile and wave for everyone. She shares her energy and love for learning and life with students and staff, going above and beyond to help those who especially need her most.
Sunridge | Emma Simms is celebrated this month for always going above and beyond to make sure our Life Skills kids have everything they need. Thank You, Emma!
PHS | Troy Jerome is recognized for the countless hours, time, and energy he puts into our students at PHS to make our school great. He also has done a great job with efficiently rescheduling our games that were cancelled because of weather.
