Teachers New to Pendleton School District – Jaime Larsen, Behavior Specialist, Washington Elementary

Jaime is a graduate of Pendleton High School, although she refuses to tell us what year.  She has one daughter currently in our district.  Jaime did her undergraduate work at Eastern Oregon University and completed her graduate studies at Walla Walla University.  She comes to us from the Milton-Freewater School District, having been a Child Development Specialist there for the last 4 years.  Prior to that Jaime worked for DHS as a Child Protective Service worker.  Her interest in our district stemmed from her experience with the teachers, staff, and administrators with whom she has worked with over the years.  Jaime has been impressed by the manner in which her colleagues have made her transition here, “but also this crazy situation seems doable.”  She enjoys family, church, the outdoors, and cooking.
