Paul Neiffer, English Language Teacher at Sherwood Elementary

Paul grew up in Ione, Oregon, and moved to Pendleton in October 2021 to start his new teaching job in the Pendleton School District.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and his master’s degree from Western Oregon University. Previously, Paul was a Peace Corps volunteer, taught school in the Dominican Republic, and was a Spanish and ELD (English Language Development) teacher in Ione.

As for what he is most excited about to work at PSD, he said, “I am excited to work with English Language Learners and be a part of this amazing district.”

In his spare time, Paul enjoys hiking, CrossFit, practicing Spanish, and traveling.
