Congratulations On Your Retirement – Rachelle Doherty
Please help us celebrate and pay tribute to our retirees from the Pendleton School District.
Today, we congratulate Rachelle Doherty, paraprofessional at Washington Elementary School. Rachelle has worked for the district for 7 years. What she will miss the most is the amazing people in her building because they are the best and having a great leader in Aimee VanNice and those few kiddos that just stay in your heart forever. Rachelle pays tribute to Matt Yoshioka as the most influential person in her career. He was a soccer coach to her daughter way back in the day. Matt was a superior principal at the middle school. Always supporting Rachelle, he had time to listen and work through things. He showed up when she was in an unforgettable situation and kind of saved the day. Thank you, Matt.
Rachelle’s words of wisdom: “Lead with your heart. Be patient. Don’t hurry. These kiddos are fragile and need us to survive and go forward into the world.”
Thank you, Rachelle, for your commitment to the students of Pendleton School District. We wish you well on your next adventure.
