Noele Mead, Grade 3, McKay Elementary

This is Noele’s first year as a classroom teacher but she is no stranger to us as she starting volunteering in 2011 and was eventually hired as an instructional aide.  Prior to this year, she has been at Washington Elementary for the last several years.  During that time, Noele returned to school to earn her Bachelor’s Degree and is currently working on her Master’s.  When asked what she likes most about our district, “I feel fortunate to work with dedicated individuals who work together and support each other professionally and personally.”  When she isn’t at work, Noele enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her family.  Although we will miss her zany antics as a crossing guard at Washington, we are fortunate that she is working with our students at McKay in her own classroom.
