Herbicide Notice
The Pendleton School District Facilities will be applying an herbicide treatment across the district to all lawns, ornamentals, and sports fields the week of March 23-27, 2026.

Dianna Dowell, Grade 1 Teacher, Sherwood Heights Elementary School
Dianna grew up in Oregon and is new to Pendleton.
She earned an Associate of Science degree from Central Oregon Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, and a master’s degree in education from Arizona State University.
About working in the Pendleton School District, Dianna said, “I am most excited about learning the different cultures here and about teaching my students.”
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her boys and grandson. “When I’m not with my family, I love to read, paddle board, hunt, fish, hike, anything outdoors.”
