Janice Zaugg, Grade 1 Teacher, Washington Elementary

As a child, Jan lived in Silverton, Oregon, but spent her teenage years in Pendleton. She and her husband have lived here for 26 years.

She attended Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho.

Jan said she is thrilled to be joining the incredible staff of the district and, specifically, Washington Elementary. “I have felt very supported and am looking forward to continuing to learn and grow from those who I am surrounded by.”

When not working, Jan said she loves to spend time with her family, traveling, and going on random adventures. She also really enjoys musical theatre, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
