Trisha Bunker, Grade 3 Teacher, Washington Elementary

Trisha grew up in Athena. After living in Pendleton while attending Blue Mountain Community College from 2002-2004, she recently moved back to the area.

For college, she attended BMCC and Eastern Oregon University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree.

As for working in the Pendleton School District, Trisha said she is most excited about “learning from new teams/teaching a new grade level/meeting new students and learning about what makes them unique.”

In her spare time, she says, “I love the outdoors! Camping, fishing, hiking, boating, biking, skiing, etc. I also love a good book, cozy blanket, warm drink, and a blazing fireplace.”
