Sunridge Middle School parents will have two options – in-person and virtual – to participate in Parent/Teacher Conferences November 21-22, 2023. SMS Principal Piper Kelm said she hopes that more parents will be able to attend by offering a couple of options.

The schedule is as follows:

Monday 11/21
4:00 – 8:00 PM: In-Person Conferences

Tuesday 11/22
7:30 AM – 9:30 AM: In-Person Conferences
9:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Virtual Conferences
2:00 – 4:00 PM: Virtual Conferences
4:00 – 8:00 PM: In-Person Conferences

Parents should schedule their conference with their child’s Advisory teacher, who will talk about the student’s progress in all subject areas, so parents will not meet with five or six different teachers, as they did in previous years. Principal Kelm said this would shorten the length of time, which may be helpful for parents who may not be able to leave work or have the additional time that traditional conferences often take to complete.

“Our goal is to have our teachers meet with as many parents as possible, and we hope this format will allow us to do that better this fall,” Kelm said.
