Andrea Dunlap, Behavior Specialist, PELC and McKay Elementary

This is technically Andrea’s second year working in our district, but her first as an employee of PSD.  Andrea is a mental health support specialist and splits her time between the PELC and McKay Creek Elementary.  About her experience last year she states, “I enjoyed getting to interact with such passionate, caring and talented staff.”  She has worked in the mental health/social services sector for the past six years.  Andrea has experience in clinical and residential mental health facilities and providing therapeutic/behavioral services to students in grades K-12.  She hails from LaGrande, Oregon, and completed her undergraduate work there at Eastern Oregon University.  She has a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University.  Besides spending time with family and friends, Andrea enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.
