Rick Scheibner, Counselor at Sunridge Middle School

Although Rick spent most of his childhood growing up in Salem, his family moved to Umatilla County when he was 15 years old, and he has been a resident of Eastern Oregon ever since. Rick earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from OSU and has worked in education for more than 30 years. He previously taught music in Stanfield SD and Pilot Rock SD and spent the past 19 years in the Hermiston School District. In his free time, he enjoys photography and music. Rick said, “I’m most excited about working in Pendleton to work with the class of 2028 as their school counselor for all three years of middle school. Go Broncs!”
