Pendleton High School’s annual Coats for Kids Drive acquired 777 coats from Pendleton School District students this year. Here are the totals collected at each school:

Sunridge Middle School – 210
Sherwood Heights Elementary – 192
McKay Creek Elementary – 135
PHS – 94
Washington Elementary – 93
Pendleton Early Learning Center (PELC) – 53

The drive, which the PHS Leadership Class leads, will help keep hundreds of kids warm this winter. PHS Leadership students thank all the students and families who donated coats and the staff at the schools who helped collect them. All the coats were delivered to Salvation Army in Pendleton, where they are cleaned and distributed.

PHS Leadership is now working on the annual Canned Food Drive, and PHS Adopt a Family, supported by PHS sports teams/clubs/individuals and families.
