District Working on SSA Plan
Oregon’s Student Success Act (SSA) is intended to provide school districts across Oregon additional revenue to meet student mental and behavioral health needs and to reduce academic disparities for students of color, students with disabilities and students navigating poverty to name a few.
The SSA provides additional resources for schools to address the social/emotional needs of students along with closing the achievement gap for students who have historically been underserved. Districts are required to submit a plan to the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) by April 15th.
Like all districts, the Pendleton School District will be publicly sharing our plan in the weeks ahead.
We are the Pendleton School District and together we are committed to Every Student, Every Day.
