Teachers New to Pendleton School District – Benji Johnson, Special Education, PHS

Benji joins our team after spending the last 27 years teaching in LaGrande. He completed both undergraduate and graduate work at Eastern Oregon University.  When asked why his interest in Pendleton, Benji responded, “I had been hearing very positive reports about the district from educators, both inside and outside of the district.”  In his spare time, Mr. Johnson enjoys whitewater rafting, hiking, and astrophotography.  Benji grew up on the westside, having graduated from Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon.
