Wendy Sorey, Special Education at Washington Elementary

Wendy was raised on a wheat ranch north of Pendleton and attended school in Helix. She has lived in this area her entire life, except for her college years. Wendy attended EOU, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She worked in the Pendleton School District from 1994 through 2009, first as a business and computer teacher and later as coordinator for the mentoring program and then for School to Careers. “I am excited to be returning to PSD!” Wendy and her husband raised three children on their farm and are now empty nesters who participate in and watch their children rodeo.
