Welcome, New Pendleton School District Teachers
Nancy Vert, Science Teacher at Sunridge Middle School
Nancy grew up in Pendleton, where she attended McKay Creek Elementary, Sunridge, and graduated as a Buckaroo in 2008. She was a Round-Up Princess in 2010. Nancy earned two undergraduate degrees in fisheries and wildlife sciences and animal science from OSU and recently completed her master’s degree from Saint Martin’s University. She spent her first two years teaching science in Seattle and last year as a science teacher in Hermiston. “I am most excited to be back teaching in the district that helped mold me into the person I am today. It’s also pretty cool to now be coworkers with some of my previous teachers!” Nancy, husband and infant daughter, just moved to Pendleton, and she shares the fun fact that her husband, Robert, is distantly related to John & Jessie Vert (think Vert Auditorium). Their daughter was the first Vert born in Pendleton! In her free time, Nancy enjoys fishing and all things food-related.
Welcome, Nancy!
