All incoming 6-8th graders need to register for the 2025-26 school year.
The format is the same as in previous years, with all Registration Stations housed on the first floor. You start at the west side of the hallway and finish at the main office window. It is important that you come in to register your student during this time. If you are a new student to the district or did not attend Pendleton High School in the previous year, please contact Renee Moore, Registrar, at 541-966-3848 at any time. If you are unable to attend on this day, please call Shelby McQuinn, PHS Secretary, at 541-966-3804.
I, like I am sure all of you, am excited that we are able to have all students return to school to open the 21/22 school year.
Earlier today, Governor Brown directed the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education to draft rules mandating mandatory face coverings for all K-12 students for the 2021-22 school year.
After the events of the last year and a half, I want to provide you with the most recent information we have regarding the upcoming school year.
On May 19, the OSSA (Oregon School Activities Association) updated its face covering requirements for school sports in the state.
The Pendleton School District is not going to change anything for the rest of the 20-21 school year.
Over the last several weeks, we have been able to return our elementary students to school full-time and our secondary students back ½ days five days a week.
Today marks the third day that we have returned K-5 students full-time to school since March 2020.
I am happy to announce that the Pendleton School District will be moving K-5 students from Hybrid to in-person learning full-time beginning Monday, April 12.
This is just a follow-up to my message on Tuesday.
Since they were initially closed to onsite instruction, the journey to reopening schools has been a long and arduous one for sure.
